Brad Keselowski is 'more frustrated than anything' over RFK Racing poor form in the Cup Series

The 2024 NASCAR Cup season so far hasn’t gone the way RFK Racing expected it to pan out. They came in with massive confidence after scoring thee wins and a strong playoff run last year. But with the new Ford Mustang Dark Horse, it seems the team is back at the drawing board yet again and is in finding it hard to get their edge back.

Despite showing strong speed and scoring multiple P2 finishes, they haven’t been the Cars to beat in most of the races this season. Both Chris Buescher and Brad Keselowski is scoring top-5s and top-10s, but those results aren’t convincing enough to proclaim them as contenders. It’s a really frustrating situation for them.

Brad Keselowski, who has been winless for almost three years, is really frustrated with position his team is in at the moment. The RFK co-owners feeling comes from the fact that they are able race with enough speed to win, despite having one of the best crew who is working hard to overcome their shortfalls.

We didn't have a ton of speed. Honestly, I'm more frustrated than anything because I feel like we have a great team, and we don't have the speed to go with it, and we're doing all we can to overcome that. Brad Keselowski said.

Brad Keselowski takes the blame as an owner for lack of speed

The No:6 Mustang driver admitted that he is still good enough to win races but the lack of speed is an obstacle they can do nothing about. He added that as a team owner it’s his responsibility that his drivers have fast cars to race and he is made he hasn’t been able to do that.

The driver in me is frustrated because I feel like these are races I'm good enough to win, and we don't have the speed to do it. And the owner in me is mad as hell because it's my fault for not making the cars faster. Brad Keselowski said.

The upcoming race at Talladega can be a game changer for RFK. They have won a superspeedway race in the Next-Gen era already and with the lard squad Ford have, winning at a drafting track like Dega is possibility. But to do that they have to field a strong car and should execute well during the race.
