Your Portland Trail Blazers will be striving to fend off a fairly incomplete Boston Celtics club tonight. Tip off is slated for 7:30 p.m. PT.

The Trail Blazers will be missing plenty of critical contributors, as they gear up for the NBA lottery and look to, frankly, lose as many games as possible. But the Celtics will be without their fair share of pieces, too, as several players look to rest up their various aches and pains against a tanking opponent that they should be able to beat shorthanded.

Per the league's latest injury report, starting All-Defensive guard Jrue Holiday (left knee tendinopathy), starting center Kristaps Porzingis (right hamstring strain), reserve Svi Mykhailiuk (personal reasons) are all on the shelf. The absence of Porzingis means veteran Al Horford will be elevated into a starting role as Boston looks to earn its 50th win of the season (with 60 well in its grasp still). Sam Hauser or Payton Pritchard seem likely to earn the nod in the stead of Holiday.

Two-way player Drew Peterson and rookie small forward Jordan Walsh are both on assignment with Boston's NBAGL affiliate, the Maine Celtics (formerly the much more creatively-titled Maine Red Claws).

Starters Jaylen Brown (sacroiliac strain), Jayson Tatum (right ankle impingement), and Derrick White (left hand strain) have all seen their statuses upgraded to available. Clearly their maladies won't be too much of an impediment.
