Milan are still on the hunt for a new head coach and have identified five rules that must be met for a candidate to be successful.

The Rossoneri have decided to sack Stefano Pioli in the summer after another disappointing season and have started to eye a number of candidates to take over, including Paulo Fonseca, Mark van Bommel, Roberto De Zerbi, Thiago Motta and Roberto De Zerbi.

Milan had seemingly decided to move forward with ex-Sevilla coach Julen Lopetegui and even allegedly drew up a contract, but fans quickly made their opposition to the idea known with a ‘Nopetegui’ petition and the club ultimately decided to focus elsewhere.
