Robin is a 5-star Physical Harmony character that we first encountered in Penacony. What secrets does this songstress hide behind her sweet, beautiful voice? Should you get her, or plan on getting her, then here’s our Honkai Star Rail guide on the best build for Robin, from her Light Cones to her Relics and more.

Honkai Star Rail Guide – Robin Light Cones and Relics Build

Do note that this guide is for the currently available or immediately upcoming Light Cones and Relics. Should new sets of Light Cones and Relics appear in Honkai Star Rail that are better for Robin, we will be sure to update this guide.

Robin Abilities Overview

We already talked about Robin’s abilities in a separate article. However, for this guide let’s go through them quickly.

Robin is a 5-Star Physical Harmony character. The Path of Harmony gives buffs to the team, and Robin especially excels in buffing follow-up teams.

Her Basic Attack, Wingflip White noise, deals Physical DMG to a single enemy. Her Skill, Pinion’s Aria, increases the DMG dealt by allies for 3 turns, with the duration decreasing at the start of Robin’s Turn. Her Ultimate, Vox Harmonique, Opus Cosmique, provides various buffs to the party.

When Robin uses her Ultimate, she enters the Concerto state, which increases her allies’ ATK. Additionally, this causes all allies to immediately take action. Whenever an ally attacks, Robin will deal additional Physical DMG to the enemy. This applies for all attacks that the ally does.

Additionally, Robin is immune to Crowd Control debuffs while in the Concerto state. Once the Concert countdown in the Action Order bar reaches the top, Robin exits the Concerto state.

Her Talent, Tonal Resonance, increases the CRIT DMG of her allies. Additionally, she regenerates Energy whenever allies attack. Her technique, Overture of Inebriation, creates a dimension around Robin. Inside the Dimension, enemies will follow her around without attacking. Upon entering battle, Robin will regenerate energy.

Robin Traces Priority

When leveling her traces, focus on leveling her Ultimate first to maximize the ATK buff, as well as Robin’s additional DMG. Follow this with her Talent, increasing the CRIT DMG buff. Next is her Skill, which increases the DMG buff, Lastly, level her Normal Attack.

As for the Major Traces, going in order is fine. That is, get Coloratura Cadenza, then Impromptu Flourish, and Sequential Passage.

Robin Light Cones Guide

All values given here are at maximum Superimposed.

Flowing Nightglow: Every time an ally attacks, the wearer gains 1 stack of Cantillation. Each stack of Cantillation increases the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 5%, stacking up to 5 time(s). When the wearer uses their Ultimate, removes Cantillation and gains Cadenza. Cadenza increases the Wearer’s ATK by 96% and increases all allies’ DMG dealt by 40%, lasting for 1 turn(s).

This is Robin’s signature Light Cone, and her best in slot as of version 2.2. This Light Cone helps her cast her Ultimate more often thanks to the increased Energy Regeneration Rate. Not only that, but it also makes her Ultimate stronger.

For starters, Robin’s ATK will increase, which will make the additional DMG from Robin stronger. Additionally, the Light Cone also provides additional DMG to her allies on top of the ATK buff her Ultimate gives.

Dreamville Adventure: After the wearer uses a certain type of ability such as Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate, all allies gain Childishness, which increases allies’ DMG for the same type of ability as used by the wearer by 20%. Childishness only takes effect for the most recent type of ability the wearer used and cannot be stacked.

This is a more situational Light Cone for Robin, as it relies on Robin’s last action. Players will have to time the team’s Basic ATKs, Skills, and Ultimates to match Robin’s so that they can experience the 20% improved DMG.

Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds: At the start of the battle and whenever the wearer’s turn begins, one of the following effects is applied randomly: All allies’ ATK increases by 20%, all allies’ CRIT DMG increases by 24%, or all allies’ Energy Regeneration Rate increases by 12%. The applied effect cannot be identical to the last effect applied, and will replace the previous effect. The applied effect will be removed when the wearer has been knocked down. Effects of the similar type cannot be stacked.

This is a decent F2P Light Cone for Robin, as it gives her entire team buffs. The downside of this Light Cone is that, as it is a 4-star Light Cone, the stats it gives does not compare to to a 5-star one. Additionally, the buffs the Light Cone gives to the party is random, so players will need to time their attacks well to take advantage of it.

Planetary Rendezvous: After entering battle, if an ally deals the same DMG Type as the wearer, DMG dealt increases by 24%.

While this Light Cone is another good F2P Light Cone for Robin, it does lock her into a Physical only support character. As such, only use this Light cone if you plan to use her solely on a Mono-Physical team.

Robin Relics Guide

2-piece Musketeer of Wild Wheat & 2-piece Messenger Traversing Hackerspace

  • ATK increases by 12%.
  • Increases SPD by 6%.

This is perhaps the ideal Relic Set for Robin, as it gives her an ATK increase for her Ultimate, as well as the SPD that she will need as a Support. This Relic Set may not give a lot of special effects, but Robin’s Kit is already strong enough that all she needs are additional stats.

2-piece Musketeer of Wild Wheat & 2-piece Prisoner in Deep Confinement

  • ATK increases by 12%.
  • ATK increases by 12%.

This Relic Set further empowers Robin’s ATK and Ultimate, while sacrificing a little Speed. This is a good Relic set if the player is able to get good Speed substate on their Relics.

2-piece Sprightly Vonwacq

  • Increases the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 5%. When the wearer’s SPD reaches 120 or higher, the wearer’s action is Advanced Forward by 40% immediately upon entering battle.

Sprightly Vonwacq is a good Relic set for Robin, as this Planar Ornament gives heradditional Energy Regeneration Rate, which allows her to use her Ultimate more often. Additionally, it also advances her forward in the battle, which with a high enough SPD makes it so that she will act first. This lets her use her Skill right from the start,

2-piece Space Sealing Station

  • Increases the wearer’s ATK by 12%. When the wearer’s SPD reaches 120 or higher, the wearer’s ATK increases by an extra 12%.

Similar to the Musketeer and Prisoner Relics combination, this Planar Ornament serves to empower Robin’s Ultimate damage more. As with that combo set, players will need to make up for it with good Speed substat rolls.

For the Relic Main Stats, try to get ATK for the Body, Speed for the Feet, more ATK for the Spehre, and Energy Recharge for the Rope. As for Substats, try to get more Speed, then ATK%, and finally HP and DEF for survivability.

Robin Team Guide

As mentioned above, Robin is a great addition to follow-up teams, thanks to her bonus damage activating in all of her allies’ attacks, follow-ups included. Her Trace Imprompty Flourish also increases the CRIT DMG of follow-up attacks, so that makes her even more perfect.

Here are some good team compositions to us Robin in:

Follow-Up Teams: Clara, Topaz and Numby, Robin, Aventurine

Clara and Topaz are good DPS characters to partner with Robin thanks to their respective follow-up attacks. This is doubly good for Topaz and Numby as her Basic ATK counts as a Follow-up attack. Clara alternatively serves as a taunt tank, while Aventurine keeps the team alive. Aventurine can also follow-up attack now and then.

Alternatively, players can use Dr. Ratio in the team, as most players likely have him. Aventurine, on the other hand, can be replaced with March 7th for an F2P source of shields and follow-up attacks.

Mono-Physical Team: Clara, Hanya, Robin, Natasha

Should the player want to run a Mono-Physical team, it is also possible. While this team is possible, it is not ideal as Clara is the only source of follow-up attacks in the party. If the player wants more damage, they can replace Hanya with Sushang.

These team compositions are just suggestions. It is up to the player how they want to use Robin.

That’s all for our guide on Robin’s best Light Cones and Relics build in Honkai Star Rail. Robin will be available for drawing once Phase 1 of Version 2.2 goes live.
